There is no property tax in Tennessee on:

• Goods-in-process
• Finished goods inventories in hands of manufacturers
• Inventories of merchandise for sale
• Goods-in-transit (free port)
• Pollution control equipment required for compliance with federal, state or local environmental protection laws
