ETEDA’s Advisory Committee is made up of local economic developers and elected officials from our 15-county region. In addition, representatives from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TN ECD) and Tennessee Valley Authority are also on the committee.
The Advisory Committee meets regularly to discuss regional challenges and opportunities, provide timely updates and research findings on workforce training and talent retention, housing affordability, regional infrastructure needs, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) and Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) programs, Oak Ridge National Lab and University of Tennessee initiatives, site selection trends, and regional project activity. In addition, this committee provides networking opportunities through in-region tours and special events to further establish positive relationships within the region.
