With exceptionally reliable power from TVA, an abundance of water, a skilled workforce, competitive workers compensation rates and low tax and unionization rates, Morgan County is an attractive business location. The county also enjoys a lower cost of living and the State has no income tax.
Morgan County’s four industrial parks provide available and affordable buildings and sites.
The Morgan County Career & Technical Center prepares students for such careers as machining, manufacturing, programming and logic robotics and welding.
With two state parks, one national park, a wildlife management area and a state forest, Morgan County is an ideal location for outdoor recreational activities such as whitewater rafting, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, and hiking.
Morgan County is also home to Historic Rugby.
