Tate & Lyle Opens $60M Plant In Loudon

Tate & Lyle hosted a ribbon cutting for the formal opening of its new co-generation plant at its facility in Loudon. Tate & Lyle, a provider of food ingredients and solutions, invested $60 million in the new energy efficient plant, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by nearly 50 percent. TNECD Chief Operating Officer Ted Townsend joined Tate & Lyle's leadership and local officials for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
